The Redmi Note 12 series, so far only two models have been available in our country, the smooth and the Per version. There's a big difference in features and price between the two phones, but the question is always which one? Good question.
Which is better is not a question, obviously the Per. But the choice is not always easy: is the better one worth the price, or do we settle for the plain one, the cheaper one. Let's compare their skills first.

How to choose?
Well. The first step is always to decide what you need. Better performance, camera, more memory, etc. Starting from our previous phone, let's see which one is about the same or better. Usually the lower end of the next generation is the same as the middle or upper end of the previous one. E.g. the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G-is obviously about the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G you should switch to a phone. It would be a simple step back. In the same way Redmi Note 11 after the Redmi Note 12 the right choice.
Should we switch from Xiaomi to Redmi? This is also a good question. Only if you have at least a Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite or an inferior, earlier model. Everything else is better, more powerful than the latest Redmi Note 12 Pro+ Max 5G Turbo... :-D
But the choice between the two is simple. If you've got the money, you can go for the Pro version, but if you don't want to spend more, the regular one is totally worth it, and it's fine for everyday use, but just be sensible. Never choose a phone that is NOT suitable for your needs, because it will only be a problem, poor photos, poor performance, low memory and you will only enrich your FB posts with pointless whining. So always ask for the opinion of the groups before you buy, there must be someone who already uses it and has a valuable opinion.
