A lot of people have already indicated on various platforms that if they were to switch from a Xiaomi phone, many would choose the OnePlus brand. Of course, the up-and-coming realme has also been mentioned, but the first one is an established, well-known brand. A Hekka.com webshop we took a OnePlus Nord CE 2 phone, against the best-selling Redmi phone, to see if it really is the better alternative.

Performance
In terms of numbers, the two phones are very similar. In terms of performance, however, there's quite a difference, in favour of OnePlus. The Dimensity 900 performs better than the Snapdragon 680 in all areas, CPU, GPU and power consumption.
Screen
The screens of the two phones are almost identical. They are exactly the same in size, even in proportion and frequency. Though minimal, the OnePlus screen is more advanced, with HDR10+ certification. In terms of screen protection, the Redmi Note 11 also falls short, as it is "only" protected by Gorilla Glass 3, while the Nord CE 2 is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Camera
If you look at the number of cameras, the Redmi comes out on top, but if you look at the features, it's still not the winner. The resolution of the main camera tips the scales towards OnePlus, with 64 MP just better than 50. But if we analyse it further, the size of the sensor (Redmi 9.2 mm, OnePlus 12.8 mm) also has a big impact on the image quality. But let's not decide which is better based on the numbers, let's see some examples.
Software
As a big old Xiaomi user, I've only used MIUI for 9 years, with the occasional stock droid and a few custom roms. But in many years I always stayed with MIUI, not just out of habit, but so far I liked it the best. Now, however, I've been introduced to OxygenOS running on OnePlus phones. I found out that it's almost the same from the East, but in pepita. Since they are both based on Android 11, they are identical in their main features. In terms of apps, however, the two systems are quite different. Because Xiaomi has not only rebuilt the Android interface, but also makes its own software, runs its own app store, forming a complex system. OnePlus, on the other hand, adds almost nothing, basing everything on Google solutions. Although OxygenOS is fast and lag-free, it's more like a basic Android with a pimped-up look. I'll stick with MIUI!
Design, appearance
The Redmi Note 11 is clean, understated and slightly conservative, offering what you want without trying to be more. The OnePlus, on the other hand, is decorative, inviting and stylish. The camera island is one with the back, it doesn't separate, it blends in. At first everyone says "wow ha" and "wow", it's really nice. But the whole thing is a fingerprint magnet and scratches easily! That's why they give you a slightly brittle silicone case to protect it, but then you're hiding the only advantage. And you can feel the back of the Redmi Note 11 as much as you like, there won't be any fingerprints on it, but it scratches just as badly because it's plastic.
The other big difference between the two phones is that the button layout is completely different to what you're used to. OnePlus has put the volume buttons on the left side of the Nord phones, like the iPhone phones, rather than the usual way, above the power button. Whichever is convenient or convenient for whom, is mostly strange to me.
Price
There is a big difference in the domestic price of the two phones. Taking the prices of the top known domestic online store in the price engine, or shopping cart, OnePlus costs twice as much as Redmi. Pistike GSM and grey import is now left for now.
- OnePlus Nord CE 2 - 148.990 Ft
- Redmi Note 11 NFC - £71.380
Although in terms of price, it should be compared to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, but OnePlus wouldn't be enough for that, it would still be more expensive. But if you still think you'd go for the OnePlus Nord CE 2, you can find it in the Hekka.com webshop for 369.99$ ~ 135.040 Ft, but if that's not a good enough price for you, you can use the helloxiaomi10 coupon to save an extra 10 bucks off the price! The coupon is valid for all prices over 29.99$! Use it!
