In August, Xiaomi announced that there would be one more release before MIUI 13, which is not the new major version, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
The original plan was to release the update for the Redmi Note series only in October, but now a few lucky models, the Redmi Note 10 5G and the Redmi Note 9 5G can now enjoy all the goodies of the optimised interface.
While the update is currently only available in China, and in stable beta, this is definitely a good thing, as it was released before the originally announced date, so it's a good thing.
Got a non-Redmi phone too
Interestingly, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition has also received an update, version V12.5.4.0.RJVCNXM. For the Note 9 5G, this is V12.5.7.0.RJECNXM, while the Note 10 5G software is V12.5.1.0.RKSCNXM.
