Ever since Xiaomi announced that it would separate its phones into Mi, Redmi and Poco brands, we've been wondering what the first Redmi phone would look like. Well, our jaws have dropped.

It's true that we didn't know everything about it. That little drop notch isn't as annoying as on the predecessor models, if of course all the notifications and icons fit on either side. There was no huge breakthrough, they created a new brand with a new phone and new pricing. Yes, that was the most surprising and significant part of today.

999, that's nine hundred and ninety-nine yuan for the 3/32 Redmi Note 7!!!!!! That's 41,000 forints in Hungarian forint!!!! Out there in China, that's how much you can buy the smallest Redmi Note 7! But how much will it be by the time it gets here? In Eastern webshops it will be either 200$(~55.730 HUF), in Hungarian stores it will be up to 59.990 HUF. Of course, few distributors will bother with it before the Global release, as there is no Hungarian language or B20 in the phone.

The appearance of the box has changed slightly. Not surprisingly for a new up-and-coming brand, the design alone is getting people interested. Its contents are the usual Redmi top-end, the phone itself, a silicone case, a USB cable and an 18W fast charger.
