All indications so far are that the big announcements are not expected until December. Although the current info comes not from Xiaomi's chief, but from Redmi's head Lu Weibing. Perhaps a new Xiaomi/Redmi phone could come as early as November.

Lu Weibing a Weibo page posted the big news yesterday, with the release of the new phones already set for November. To be precise, he wrote:

Guess which new product I'm using?”
This was sent from an unknown Xiaomi phone. Which can only be one phone, and it's the Xiaomi 13. Although Mr. Weibing is not the head of Xiaomi, but of Redmi, so the content of his post could be more accurately understood as a Redmi phone. But it is not. So which brand is focusing on the flagship series and which on the mid-range? Xiaomi and Redmi, of course. But then is the info so far false, or just plain wrong?
