CEO of Xiaomi, Xiaomi CEO may have accidentally published a picture that doesn't match any of the current Xiaomi phones. He recently posted a picture of a 10,000 mAh version of the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank available for purchase on the Mi Store online for 79 Yuan. The picture alone wouldn't make a big splash, but the point is, the size!

The photo was taken from the Mi Powerbank sales page of the Mi Mall store and covers the full screen of the device used by Lei Jun. Surprisingly, the photo is unusually large in size, especially in length. The screen capture ratio is usually in line with the size of the smartphone's display and in this case the device has an unusually long aspect ratio of 18:9. Despite Weibo's attempts to lower the resolution of the photo, the ratio is still there, sparking speculation that this could be a new Xiaomi phone.

The only Xiaomi model that might come with an 18:9 aspect ratio is the Mi Mix 2. The Mi Mix 2 won't have a larger screen, but it will be thinner and the screen-to-body ratio could be as high as 93%. According to previous rumours, it's not just the screen-to-body ratio that will be new in the Mi Mix 2, but the audio technology that the AAC actuator will offer. The new technology will offer better sound quality through the screen and will also be 3GPP compliant. The publication of the image suggests that the new device will be announced soon, as it is already Xiaomi CEO tests it in a day-to-day environment.
