Xiaomi's 10th anniversary isn't over yet, not only is this round number being commemorated in a phone, but there's also an Ultra version coming in TV form.
The Xiaomi Mi TV Master is the company's best TV yet, with all the new and outstanding technology they've ever managed to incorporate. The anniversary edition of this TV will be unveiled on 28 September, with the Xiaomi Mi TV Master Ultra edition.
In addition to the 8K resolution, Mi TV Master Ultra uses the most advanced lighting technology, simply called Mini LED. The Mini LED display technology is a powerful and subtle backlight layer consisting of tens of thousands of tiny LED units, capable of delivering extremely high brightness. The various light control solutions also increase the contrast, while at the same time, thanks to the fine light control, it is possible to display shades of grey (50).
A 5G connection is essential for lag-free reception of 8K content, and Xiaomi's TV will be the first in the world to pass the CTA network access certification test and support 5G SA/NSA networks. The SA network has a theoretical download speed of up to 2.1 Gbps.
The size of the TV screen has not yet been announced, but rumour has it that two models have recently been 3C certified, one of which is 82" in diameter and supports 8K resolution.
