After a slight delay, the actual launch date of the Mi MIX 3 is finally revealed.
The event will take place in Beijing on 25 October 2018, and is expected to showcase not only the Mi MIX 3, but also the Mi Note 4, previously codenamed LEX.
Earlier rumours and posters announcing the 15 October as the launch date proved false, but now the official date is official. The Mi MIX 3 will feature a slick design, a nearly 100% display, an under-display fingerprint sensor, a dedicated AI button, and pretty much everything you'd expect from a true flagship in 2018. MicroSD expansion is still not supported, and there's little chance of bringing back the 3.5mm jack. IP protection is another dream that remains a dream for the Mi MIX category for the time being.

The Mi MIX 3 in his hands

The promotion has started, with continuous leaks expected for the remaining 9 days. Be it the design of the device or its hardware capabilities.

Based on the most recent image, 2 properties can be assumed. ONE is the support of a new wireless standard for 5G, which means the future of the 4G LTE mobile internet connection, called 5G, which is still perfectly usable today. It's not just about further speed increases, it's more complex than that, which is what we can expect from 5G in the near future.
A 10G már annál érdekesebb. A “G” ugyanis a Gigabyte rövidítése is, ami sokszor így használnak, nem pedig “GB”-ként. Tehát a 10G ebben az esetben a készülék memóriájára utalhat, ami brutális.

A 10GB version is also available on the Chinese competitor, the Oppo Find X, so Xiaomi didn't want to be left behind. The other issue is that no device has ever been able to take advantage of this much memory. Just think about the previous OnePlus models, where the RAM size sounded good on paper, but in actual use, it didn't receive software support from the manufacturer for months.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon next-generation 8150 processor, which also supports 5G networking, has not yet been released. The Xiaomi MIX 3 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor, so if 5G support is indeed expected, it will have to be modified in co-development with Qualcomm. We have already seen a similar solution for a Redmi model, where the base SoC did not support the display aspect ratio, so a modified processor will be included.
