As many of you know, the latest Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship unfortunately doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack. The next best option is to use the USB-C port at the bottom to connect your favourite headphones with an adapter, but when and what kind? Well, Xiaomi has just answered the questions and introduced a new premium USB-C earphone.

The Xiaomi USB-C earphones are made of titanium and have a beautiful mirror-like finish. It uses a unique iron-ring acoustic architecture to produce high quality sound, so much so that it has even been awarded Japanese Hi-Res Audio certification and tuned with the expertise of Grammy Award-winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi.

These USB-C earbuds support noise cancellation technology from 50 Hz to 2000 Hz and suppress sound up to 25 decibels, so you can listen to your favourite music in noisy environments.

The Xiaomi USB-C earbuds also have a small remote control with three main buttons and one on the other side to enable or disable noise cancellation. The earbuds will be compatible with the Xiaomi Mi6 and any other smartphone with a USB-C port.

Xiaomi will start selling the premium USB-C earbuds tomorrow, May 23 - for 299 Yuan (about $44).
