It seems that Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its Mi TV 2017 models on May 18, at least according to an official announcement from the Chinese company.
There's also an official poster that further confirms the fact and as we can see, it includes the number "4", referring to the launch of the Mi TV4, which was unveiled at CES 2017.
This particular model really stands out from the rest during CES 2017 in Las Vegas and for good reason. It's available in 3 versions (49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch display), but certainly the larger one (the 65-inch model) has the most impressive (modular) design. This means that the motherboard, sound system and large display together are three separate parts that can be easily replaced if you want to upgrade in the years to come.
All three Mi TV4 models are extremely slim, with a very narrow bezel (4.9mm), a metal housing and a truly bezel-less display that will certainly allow them to fit perfectly into your living room. All versions should be 4K resolution and are expected to launch in a few days, on 18 May. According to Xiaomi, the 65-inch super model is expected to be priced at around 13,700 yuan (2000$).
