Yesterday, the Indian Redmi Note 9 Pro users have received a stable update, which V12.5.1.0.RJWINXM was published under the code name. With this update, they received the MIUI 12.5 stable update with lots of new features and a surprise!

If you start reading what's in the update, uninitiated eyes will already know exactly what's in it. A MIUI 12.5 has all the subtleties, but there's a surprising novelty at the end that we've never seen before.

All upcoming system update will be provided by Google

That's "Upcoming system updates will be provided by Google". So from now on, MIUI system updates will not be served by Xiaomi's servers, but by Google's system. So let's hope that's all it is, not that Google might even get involved. We've always hated pre-installed, unremovable garbage, I hope they don't do it again with more worthless apps.

The update has been released only in India, for the Redmi Note 9 Pro in India only. There is no news at the moment that this will be the case for other systems, but we do know that it is expected in the future for EEA, that is, outside of European updates. So it doesn't apply to us yet.

[UPDATE]

Meanwhile another update from India Redmi Note 8 Pro phone, which has the same at the bottom of the list. There too, Google has taken over the MIUI system updates. As soon as someone sees this sentence on a phone purchased in the domestic market, please let us know immediately!
