Facebook, aka Meta, is opening a store where you can try and buy the company's various VR portals.
Meta opens the Meta Store in Burlingame, California on 9 May - from a The New York Times. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has of course announced the store on Facebook, saying that the Meta Store will also be a great way to help users understand how the metaverse works and what they stand to gain from it.
The 1,500-square-metre store will be a place to try out and buy something from Meta's VR range, including the Quest 2 virtual reality headset and Ray-Ban Stories smart sunglasses.
Last October, Mark Zuckerberg rebranded the parent company Facebook as Meta, citing the company's move from being a Facebook company to a number of other products and its desire to shift the focus from social to building a meta-mastery of virtual reality.
