At yesterday's presentation not just phones, a laptop, network devices and of course the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro. But not just any bracelet or watch or whatever. But I'm sure it will be a hit in 2022!
In terms of size and appearance, it's more of a smartwatch, but it's still in the Smart Band family. So it's still a smart bracelet by name. Just with a nice big display. The exact dimensions are 44.7 × 28.8 × 11 mm, which is similar in size to the Redmi Smart Band Pro, for example, but just a little bigger.
Its screen is slightly curved and is made with AMOLED technology, which can support AOD. This means you can have the clock and date on the screen at all times, so you don't have to turn the whole screen on to get them. This has a big impact on battery life, which the manufacturer claims can be up to 12 days. But if you live a sporty life and use all its functions, it will only last 6 days. The screen is 1.64″, 70% with a body-to-screen ratio of 280×456 pixels, 326 PPI and smart brightness adjustment.
Talking about sport! The bracelet recognises and measures 117 sports. 14 of them with professional accuracy, which you can evaluate in the dedicated Xiaomi app on Android and iOS devices. The big new feature of the bracelet is that it has a built-in GPS receiver, which allows you to track your outdoor sports very accurately. It accurately monitors your distance covered, your heart rate, your speed, so it's tougher than a trainer because it vibrates to warn you if you're not performing properly.
5ATM water resistance ensures you get accurate readings even when swimming long distances. Of course, it also prevents the screen from being pushed by water when tracking your swim. Of course it has all the basic functions of its predecessors. 24 hour heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and sleep monitoring, women's health, breathing exercise, etc. You can pay with NFC and it even has fast call answering, but only with Android.
The price of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is very attractive, but only in China. At the moment, there are no rumours that it will ever reach us officially. Outside, the bracelet is 379 Yuan ~ 22,140 Ft, but it is already available for 85-90 € ~ 36,425 Ft in rural web stores. It's still worth it and if it comes here, it will be a hit here in 2022!
