Redmi Note 12 Turbo finally unveiled In China, with fantastic features, unique design and ultra-powerful performance. If you're bored, you'll love the Harry Potter limited edition!
Performance
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo could be an everyday phone if you just looked at the specs, but it's not. It's the SoC alone that makes it stand out, as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 uses the same architecture as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. So it has almost the same performance as the Xiaomi 12T Pro or the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. In the existing tests, the SD 7+ Gen 2 performs only a hair worse than its "predecessor". This is due to the slightly lower clock speed, but if I want to put it in numbers:
The processor itself has all the good stuff, with LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 storage. This brings the memory and back I/O speeds up to last year's top-end. It's also got a brutally good cooling system to keep it running at the right temperature and performance even after an hour of Genshin Impact. Redmi's tests show that it can maintain 60 FPS for 30 minutes without darkening the screen. The lowest during the test was 58.2 FPS, which is almost unnoticeable.
Screen
The screen of the phone is also at the top end of the range. 1920 Hz high frequency PWM brightness control, 12-bit colour depth, SGS low blue light certification, HDR10+,
Dolby Vision. Just a few of the features the big guys have. Not to mention the narrow bezel, currently only surpassed by the Xiaomi 13.
Camera
The camera is not outstanding, if we were not talking about the midfield. With a 64 MP main camera we can be completely satisfied, especially as it has optical image stabilisation! The 8 MP ultra wide camera is almost a classic, and the third, the 2 MP macro for who knows what.
So basically, they've beaten the market again, they've given up. The additional features are so much more to be highlighted, but worth mentioning are the 5,000 mAh battery, stereo speaker, 3.5 mm Jack, infra, etc.
