It was very surprising to read about this watch for the first time, everyone was talking about Xiaomi's new smartwatch, yes, THIS IS NOT A XIAOMI PRODUCT! Just because it's available on Xiaomiyoupin's webstore doesn't make it so. The smartwatch is available on the company's webstore for 179 Yuan (~$7,985), this is subject to a "small" profit and load, so it's now available internationally for 34,99$ (~$11,050). That's not too bad, in fact, it's very attractive for what it can do. Plus, it is now available in a special edition with 2 extra screen protectors:

The watch is a global version, so you don't have to worry about the Chinese language, everything is in English, both the watch and the app. Plus, the clock handles Hungarian accented characters smoothly, even long ones! The touch screen is not the top, it's not sophisticated, but then for the money we shouldn't expect more, although it is smooth, jitter-free to use if we use firm movements. The battery life is worth a shot. 340 mAh is well and truly maxed out, if you're just using it as a watch with some notifications, it'll last 30 days or more. But even if you use it for sports and 24-hour heart rate monitoring, it'll last 15 days. Isn't it cool that you only need to recharge every 2 weeks if you use it for everything IS? And charging! It comes with a magnetic charger, not a holder, and a snap-on thing, maybe that's the innovation of 2020? For our Band 5 maybe...

The watch not only displays the time and notifications, but also helps you relax, find your phone, stopwatch, music control, current weather and forecast. All these are displayed in a very smart, visible and clear way. In addition, you can choose from several clock faces, either in the menu, in the settings, or by long-tapping on the basic clock face, you can also swipe left and right to choose the one that suits you.

The watch strap is a standard 22 mm size, but it is not a standard connection, as it is not straight but curved, so normal straight straps would doubtfully fit. The material is elasticated silicone, although I had my doubts about its durability in the video, but make no mistake! The other i.e. one of its striking features is its total water and dust resistance. With an IP68 standard, you can play any sport in it, swim, swim in the Balchis, shower, it will be fine.

The Haylou Fit app can be downloaded from the Google Play store if you have an Android phone, or from the Apple App Store if you have an iOS device. The app is also infinitely simple to use, no fuss. Everything is in English, it's easy to understand, it doesn't require an intermediate level of English to understand. Nevertheless, it does everything like the big competitor Mi Fit or Amazfit's app.

Summary

I'm very positively disappointed with this watch, seriously if my Bip watch gives up the fight I'll think about the angular version of the Haylou, although it's less capable so even this round one is an option. It does no more or less than what we expect from a smartwatch these days. It measures heart rate, or has a ragtag sports function, calorie burn, weather, accents, notifications, etc. Plus it's cheeky cheap! So if you need a good watch now, you can buy one from the links above, free of charge and with VAT and VAT free delivery!
