In our previous article, we covered the Mi Max 2 camera specs leak, but the next rumour was that this year's Mi Max will be unveiled on May 23.

On the specs front, the Mi Max 2 is rumoured to be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 chip with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage and another with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. According to some rumours, it is possible that the two variants could come with different processors, with the 6 GB variant having the SD 660 processor, while the 4 GB variant will have the SD 626 processor. The display is the same as its predecessor, 6.44 inches with 1080p resolution. A 5000mAh battery is capable of powering the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, providing a more significant standby than its predecessor's 4,850mAh battery. The device will run Android Nugat 7.1.1 on MIUI base.

According to recently leaked images, a 12MP Sony IMX378 sensor will be the rear camera with a large aperture. The front will likely be a 5MP camera.

We have no confirmed information on when the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be unveiled. Another rumour suggests that the phablet will be priced between 1499 and 1699 Yuan.

What else might he know?
