Az Omdia (tech. tanácsadó, piackutató) elkészítette 2019-es felmérését, melyben az okostelefon eladásokat vizsgálta. A jelentés szerint az Apple iPhone XR lett 2019 legkelendőbb okostelefonja, ebből adtak el világszerte a legtöbbet. Ez szám szerint 46,3 millió darabot jelent. Ezt a 2018-as eladásokhoz képest bő kétszeres növekedést jelent. Második helyen az iPhone 11 szerepel ebből 37 millió darab fogyott. A Top 10-es listán összesen 5 Apple okostelefon szerepel. Harmadik, negyedik, és ötödik helyen Samsung modelleket találni (3. Galaxy A10 – 30,3 millió, 4. Galaxy A50 – 24,2 millió, 4. Galaxy A20 – 19,2 millió)
In the second half of the list, in sixth place, is the iPhone 11 Pro Max with 17.6 million units, and in seventh place is the iPhone 8 with 17.4 million. Only the 8th place no Apple and Samsung product is listed, this place a Redmi Note 7 with 16.3 million units.

The list reveals that both Apple and Samsung have gained nine places in the top ten of overall smartphone sales in 2019. According to the report, although global sales have declined in recent years, manufacturers need not worry as millions of people are still buying smartphones.
