Xiaomi launched a new storage device, the Xiaomi Xiaobai N1 NAS a couple of days ago. They have already had something similar in their product range which was available together with a router but this one now focuses only storing data accessible through the internet.
The Xiaomi Xiaobai N1 NAS will be the favourite for those who like storing all kinds of media things and other files in one place which then later can be accessed from anywhere, from local network or internet. NAS consists of a 3.5″ hard drive with a capacity of 2 TB which communicates SATA3.0 with 1GHz processor.
Its network speed is due to its Marvell Youkon chipset but we can also have an access to the in-built hard drive via its USB3.0-port. There is no WiFi so you need to have a WiFi router such as Mi WiFi 3G or the new 4. The dimensions of the Xiaobai N1: 205 x 116 x 46 mm, it weighs 938 gr and it is made of fire-proof ABS.
It will be available for 699 Yuan if it is out of the crowdfunding campaign, which is equivalent to about ~ 28,890Ft. We have no information about its availability yet, as soon as we have exact details we will let you know!
