Redmi Note 6 Pro will indeed be coming with the same processor as its big predecessor, the Redmi Note 5 (Pro). Although we may as well ask if they want to keep pricing of Redmi series, what SoC does it have? SD660 is surely not as it is the top category. MTK Helio P22 can’t be either as it is the SoC of the Base or ‘A’ version. No other options….
We could say that Redmi Note 6 Pro will be the facelift of the Redmi Note 5. SoC is for sure as it has appeared on Geekbench.
We have not much info from Geekbench only Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 4GB RAM and Android 8.1.0. So in terms of performance, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will not be better than the Redmi Note 5 (Pro), it will only sport some new features. 6.26″ full display and an aspect ratio of 19:9, FHD+ resolution. As for its RAM/ROM couple, it will start from 3/32 and the more powerful is 4/64 but we can image that there will even be a bigger one. The rear camera will probably remain the common 12/5 MP with AI support but the front camera will also be a dual one 20/2 MP. The battery remains 4000 mAh, fingerprint scanner at the back and metal unibody design. It is expected to be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue and Red.
