This morning Poco F1, the first super phone of POCOPHONE was launched in India. The device made by Xiaomi became popular not because of its name but its speed. It has reached such speed as no other phones so far on specific test sites.

The Poco F1 is the Indian sub-brand of Xiaomi as it inherited almost everything from the Mi8 series and some features were added as well. The device built in a different way than other phones earlier has several new features and the whole concept is based on speed. The pre-existing top SoC, the SD845 keeps the performance of the system at a normal level with liquid cooling system even under high temperature in a smarter way than the devices of the competitors. They promise a 28% quicker app opening and 21% faster animation by optimising MIUI and creating the new Poco Launcher. Plus a 4000mAh battery, QC3.0 support, so those who love gaming can enjoy an incredible speed for 8 hours long! If it is flat, then you can connect it to the super fast charger with the USB-C. So as not to disturb our surroundings with the shots from stereo loudspeakers, we can simply connect our earbuds to the Jack.
The Poco F1 camera is placed in the middle in the line of the rear fingerprint scanner. The well-known 12MP (1.4um pixels, f/1.9 aperture, dual pixel autofocus)+ 5MP (1.12um pixels, f/2.0 aperture) performs the required quality at a favourable price (below you can read the prices as well). The front camera is the selfie-king 20MP camera plus a camera and sensor responsible for infrared face unlock. In this way Poco F1 is able to recognise perfectly our face even in pitch dark and unlock the device. Of course the cameras with AI can perform better and it also sports scene and object recognition among other features to create the best quality.
Its display is also special, the exact size is 6.18″ and its aspect ratio is 18.7:9. FHD+ resolution (2246 x 1080), with 403 ppi pixel density. Of course with daylight, night and reading mode. And one more thing, the notch can be shuffled out of sight by pushing a button if it disturbed you.
There is B20! :) Well, Poco F1 support several frequencies. In India 4G+ is also among them and B20 which is important for us (800 MHz). The SIM tray hibrid construction enables 2 nanoSIM or 1 nanoSIM and a microSD card, which is max. 256GB. Both SIM can 4G+! Wifi is the common 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and 2.4G WiFi / 5G WiFi / Supports WiFi Direct / WiFi 2×2 MIMO technology / MU-MIMO / WiFi Display. Bluetooth 5.0 AAC/aptX/aptX-HD/LDAC audio codec.
MIUI Poco’s other speciality is its more than 20 optimisation, the Android base and quick update of error recovery packs. It is taken so seriously that is based on Android 9 Pie.
The Poco F1 will be available in two version, the normal and kevlar cover Armoured edition. The normal version is available in 64, 128 and 256 GB internal storage besides 6/8GB RAM, the Armoured edition has fix 8+256GB.Three colours are available: graphite black, rose red and steel blue. The kevlar, of course, the common synthetic fiber.
