Xiaomi Redmi Y2 and the long-desired MIUI 10 Global version debuted at the event today. We have already written about the Chinese MIUI 10, the Global version is almost the same without Chinese things, of course in Hungarian and with Google account. It will lack Drive mode, XiaoAI assistant and connecting applications. However, we will show it to you in a full article when our testers find Mi5/6 MIUIHU 10 ROM stable.
In the official statement not every device type was listed but fortunately the whole list was made clear on the English forum!
MIUI 10 Global Beta supported devices:
Mi MIX 2, Mi 6, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 5s, Mi 5, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi Note 2, Mi Max 2, Mi Max, Redmi Note 5 India, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Note 5A Prime, Redmi Note 4 MTK, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 3S, Redmi Y2, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi Y1
Everybody will get MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM automatically in the same way as earlier, every week, without registration. The first updates can be expected from Mid June but the order within the list is not set so it makes no sense asking when it is your phone’s turn because there is no official information! You will get it once but the list above can be the order in itself as well ….
Some things you need to know before flashing:
- Back up your important data before flashing MIUI 10 Global Beta
- You will automatically get permission for MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM
- The MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM may contain bugs. Please report it every time so that the developers would know about it and could correct it in the next version.
