With a little off schedule, but at last the release date of the Mi MIX 3 turned out.
It will be held on 25 October in Beijing and not only the Mi MIX 3 will be launched but also the earlier codenamed LEX as the Mi Note 4.
Rumours and posters for 15 October have turned out to be false and this date now is official. The Mi MIX 3 will come out with a sliding mechanism and a nearly 100% screen-to-body ratio. The device will come with an in-screen fingerprint sanner, dedicated AI button and every other thing that a flagship phone in 2018 must feature. No support for microSD expansion and no chance for 3.5mm Jack. IPsec remains to be a dream in the Mi MIX category.

Promotional period has already started and in the next 9 days continuous leaks can be expected both in the matter of design or its hardware features.
Based on the latest picture we can suppose 2 feature. One of them is the support for wireless standard by 5G, which means the future of the presently well-used 4G LTE mobile internet called 5G. It is not only about speed increase it is a more complex change that we expect from 5G in the near future.
10G is bit more interesing. “G” refers to Gigabyte which is abbreviated in this way many times, not “GB”. Therefore 10G may refer to the memory of the device which is incredible.
Oppo Find X, the Chinese rival has a 10GB version phone so Xiaomi didn’t want to lag behind. Another thing is that no phone has been able to take advantage of such big memory. Let’s think for example the OnePlus modells which had an enormous RAM but in practice they did not get sofware support from the manufacturer for months.
The next-gen 8150 processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon which supports 5g has not been launched yet. Xiaomi MIX 3 is expected to come out with 845 SoC so if a 5G support is reality, then it will be solved in a common development together with Qualcomm. We could have seen a similar solution in the case of a Redmi modell in which the base SoC did not support the aspect ratio of the display so a modified processor was put in the device.
