The cheapest version of the Redmi 5 is 699 yuan ($105), if true, this smartphone will be the cheapest full-screen device from Xiaomi. The more expensive version will cost 999 yuan ($151).

Xiami Redmi 5 Plus

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is a Snapdragon 625 It comes with a CPU, 3/32GB or 4/64GB RAM/ROM combination. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2160×1080 display and is powered by a larger 4000 mAh battery.

Both models will come with a 12-megapixel single rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera, although the images suggest a dual front-facing camera solution. The Redmi 5 duo is rumoured to come with MIUI 9, and will continue to come with Android Nougat (7.1) major version.
