Huami, the company that also produced the highly successful MiBand and MiBand 2 smartwatches for Xiaomi, leaked in a Weibo post that it will unveil a new fitness gadget to the general public tomorrow, June 6, 2017.
This doesn't tell us anything about the new product, and the title is a bit exaggerated, but the picture suggests that we can expect the debut of a new fitness gadget, as it has something to do with sports and running. And Huami is known to be at the forefront of the development and manufacture of smart wearable devices, see. MiBand series and Amazfit.
Even when the Amazfit was launched, we didn't know it would be part of Xiaomi's range, and it was, although not under the Xiaomi name. Maybe it's just a new development from Huami and not a new addition to the Xiaomi portable gadget line-up.
