I think we all knew this was going to happen, didn't we? The Xiaomi Mi 6 ceramic edition was available yesterday at 10am in China and a few seconds later, as expected, it was completely sold out.
The device was available exclusively on the Xiaomi Mall, priced at 2,999 yuan ($435) and, like the standard edition, it sold out in a minute. The Xiaomi Mi6 Ceramic Edition is listed as "Out of Stock" on the official Xiaomi website, but no one is sure when we will see it back in stock in the future. If Xiaomi does not face any production issues, the Ceramic version will be available soon.
Don't forget that this special ceramic edition requires a special manufacturing process, but it also has 18k gold cavities around the two cameras on the back ... so it takes time to manufacture.
