We all know that Xiaomi is hard at work to release the successor to the Mi Pad 2, which is likely to be the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and will come in two versions - rumoured to be one with a 7.9-inch display and Android 7.0 Nougat and a second, larger 9.7-inch display with Windows 10.
However, a new image leaked today from Weibo suggests that the alleged tablet will also be available in several new colour variants: gold, silver, pink/red and a fourth colour that looks black but with wide ridges. The new information also suggests that the upcoming Mi Pad 3 will be unveiled sometime by April alongside Xiaomi's Mi 6 flagship model, which comes with impressive specs and pricing, as you can read below:
- The 7.9-inch Mi Pad 3 is expected to come with Mediatek's MT8176 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage, priced at ¥1299 (188 $) and ¥1599 (231 $) respectively.
- The 9.7-inch Mi Pad 3 is expected to be equipped with Intel's Atom x7-Z8750 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage, priced at $1699 ($ 246) and $999 ($ 291) respectively.
