Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is coming on 27 March, but what do we know about it? Let's recap!

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s was officially announced yesterday, and it's due on March 27, 2018.

The official info isn't over yet, but what's for sure is that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdrgon 845 SoC and has the highest Antutu score so far, 273.741.

An earlier Antutu measurement was also published, and here it was actually revealed by the phone's codename that it does exist.

The Mix 2s can't complain here either, it has a pretty good result, with a GPU score above 100,000 ensuring a smooth gaming experience.

Not only will the SoC be better than before, it will also have better and faster image processing, Artificial Intelligence, better SOT time, faster internet, better user experience and longer lifetime.

MIUI has set up a poll on its official microblog to see what fans would prefer to see. The final result of the poll showed that the three most important things for Mi Mix 2s were longer battery life, nicer pictures and artificial intelligence.

This is how a Chinese blogger described the main features of the imaginary Mix 2s:

• 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM
• High-speed 256 GB UFS storage
• 12 MP rear dual camera
• Global 4G LTE bands (B20)
• Fingerprint reader integrated under the screen

The first S845 phone in the world didn't work, the Samsung S9 did, but the rest is still in question, although it would be a doubt. The fingerprint reader is also rumoured to be ready, but there's still a lot of work to be done, hence the later unveiling.

You may have recently read about the leaked firmware that contained some details about the following phones. Also in the case of the Mix 2s, the files in the picture above show that there will indeed be a dual camera on the back, so the picture above is a clumsy one.

And this is the alleged ceramic back cover of the Mix 2s. Photographed by a local worker, it gives the appearance of a real back, with the layout as rumoured so far. The camera modules are said to have been turned around because the optical module structure takes up more space horizontally, rather than aping the trendy iPhone X.

And the biggest fake picture, which many small industrious blogs have posted even in this country, even though we warned you in time not to post it, because it's not a Xiaomi. But nooooo, there are some places where the good people were teased about copying the zython. :D

March 27 is a long way off. This year's MWC is just around the corner, and Xiaomi is already packed out on its small stand. We are very excited!
