Xiaomi Mi Max 2 battery comparison - iPad Mini 4, Huawei P10 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus

Xiaomi has released another promotional video, this time highlighting the battery of the Mi Max 2. To avoid any confusion, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a 5,300 mAh battery and the video compares the battery life to the iPad Mini 4, Huawei P10 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus. For a fair comparison, the iPad Mini 4 uses a 5,124 mAh battery, the Huawei P10 Plus uses a 3,750 mAh battery and the iPhone 7 Plus uses a 2,750mAh battery.

Another thing to note is that there is a more powerful and efficient processor in the iPhone 7 Plus and Huawei P10 Plus. The Apple A8 chip on the iPad Mini 4 could be even more powerful than the Snapdragon 625 chip, in the Mi Max 2.

How the test works

The iPad battery was the first to die

The iPad battery was the first to go down, followed by the iPhone 7 Plus and the Huawei P10 Plus. It's worth noting that by the time all three models had fully discharged their batteries, the capacity of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was 50%. This simply means that the Mi Max 2 offers twice the performance and more battery life than the others. We can't draw any conclusions from this yet, because we haven't checked the test. But it does indicate that the Snapdragon 625 is a powerful processor, and gives the Mi Max 2 incredible battery life.
