Xiaomi is the only smartphone maker that has come back to life after its collapse. It shipped more than 26.7 million phones in the third quarter of 2017, an increase of 102.5% and has been included in the top five global manufacturers. Xiaomi is reported to be the fastest growing manufacturer in the world, but what's amazing is that it only offers its products in 14 countries. It is number one in the Indian market and in October it reached a sales target of 100 billion Yuan ($15 billion).

Yesterday, the CEO of Xiaomi, Xiaomi CEO announced via his personal Weibo channel that in 2018 Xiaomi's strategy will not change, focusing on innovation and quality. As he said, "innovation determines how high we can fly and quality determines how far we can go." This simply means that Xiaomi will continue to bring top innovative products to market and offer the best value for money. In this sense, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be the best proof that Xiaomi continues to focus on innovation and quality.

The Mi7 is rumoured to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 super chip (although this could be taken as fact), a full screen 18:9 aspect ratio, 6″ diagonal display and minimum FHD+ resolution. The rumours don't stop there, it is rumoured that Mi7 will also come in two sizes, following the example of Redmi 5, with the Plus version going up to 6.5″. Housed in a metal frame, it will have a glass front and back cover and will also be able to charge wirelessly.
