WhatsApp is apparently working on a feature that will allow users to chat on multiple phones and tablets with the same account.

Meta has been working hard to improve WhatsApp in recent years, and there's hardly a week that goes by when we don't hear about something new from the chatterbox. However, there are still some features that users are forced to do without, despite the app's popularity and widespread use, such as the ability to use the same account on multiple devices.

Very well informed on WhatsApp matters WABetaInfo according to Meta is already hard at work on the feature, which will work with a code that you'll need to scan with the main phone if you want to use multiple devices at once. According to the portal, the development is already available in the current beta version of the app.

This is a previously announced and very useful feature, which will certainly be made public in the near future. According to a screenshot from an earlier beta, devices will be able to synchronise recent messages, even if they are encrypted end-to-end. The new feature will definitely be available on Android, but it is unclear whether it will be available on iOS.
