Recently, the pace of new Xiaomi smartphone launches has increased significantly. Three high-end products (Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 3) have been released this year. In addition to these, their first Android One device, the Xiaomi A1, before this miui-s version Mi 5X. Redmi Note 5A is now available.
But let's get back to the point.

Last night, some users found the packaging of a Xiaomi product posted on Weibo. Surprisingly, it was a smartphone whose arrival had not been announced before.

The name "Plus" suggests that this will be a more powerful version of the Xiaomi Redmi 5.
So there are 3 members in the 5″ category:

Redmi 5A - Lower, entry-level version
Redmi 5 - standard version
Redmi 5 Plus - more powerful version

No exact specification or price. This is the first appearance of the Redmi 5 Plus. But it is expected to get a similar SoC as the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
According to rumours, the Redmi Note 5's metal casing will feature a nano-injection moulding process for the antenna, while the fingerprint sensor will remain on the back. The Redmi Note 5 retains the 5.5-inch 1080p display. Perhaps one of the versions will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio P25 processor, with built-in 3 / 4GB of memory and 16 / 32GB of storage. It will have a 12-megapixel camera on the front and a dual 16 MP + 5 megapixel camera on the back. The infrared port remains.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will remain 5 inches.

The higher version of the Redmi 4, 4X was 699 yuan ($106). The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is likely to debut at a slightly higher price than the regular Redmi 5.
