On Wednesday, the European version of the Redmi Note 11 series and the global version of MIUI 13 were unveiled. We were a bit surprised by the phones, they didn't quite bring us the Chinese version, but at least they looked like it. Just by looking at the main features, we can see that we didn't get the same snow as our Chinese friends. While I'm not slagging off 5G, nor the 98% of the population, there's 5G on every street corner out there. That's why it's important there. Not here, though, which is why I'm glad it's not forced on us, so we don't have to pay for unnecessary iron.
If you look at it, they've pretty well sprinkled the middle of the market. Although these are European prices, the domestic prices will be a little higher, but for those with an eye, you can get it for less. There's also a VAT difference and Artichoke on top of that. Oh, and the reassurance that the Chinese price is not that far from the European price...
There is no difference in appearance, although the typical sharp lines are only inherited by the Pro versions, the plain and the "S" are slightly rounder. The Pro and 5G have a very cool design, the edges are imposing, the flat screen and back again bring something innovative. Yes, now you can come up with the zyphon analogy, it's still a pleasure to hold... Not to mention the new colour, Atlantic Blue, which when turned in the light looks like you're at the bottom of the sea.
There's still some sleep until the domestic launch, and thus the official domestic prices, not to mention the distribution. But as soon as we have something closer, we'll be back with more details!
