It's never good to write about which Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO support will end, but it's better if everyone knows in advance. In the Weekly Beta MIUI Update Report released today in China, another 16 devices were predicted to stop updating.
One day everything will finally happen. MIUI updates won't come forever, no matter how much we love our devices. They get outdated after a while, although they're still great to use, but the hardware demands of the software are always growing. So they simply stop further development of the basic Android and MIUI interface and newer, prettier, more colourful, smellier phones take priority.
For now, European users need not worry, as only the Chinese weekly beta is ending for now. After that, there will be a stable Chinese version, from which we will get the global and EEA updates. So after the discontinuation, it will be a few more months before support is discontinued on the old continent.
These 16 devices will be removed from the Chinese beta update

Of course, not all the tools in the above list are found in Europe, but there are alternatives, or global equivalents. Or, of course, it's exactly the same as Xiaomi's top models. But specifically, the Redmi K40S has been cleverly renamed the POCO F4, so that will also be discontinued.
