General information Android 6 (Marshmallow): -

Version 6.0 of the Android mobile operating system. First presented at Google I/O in May 2015 and codenamed "Android" M ", it was officially released in October 2015.

Marshmallow focuses primarily on improving and enhancing the Lollipop user experience, introducing a new app permission handling, new APIs (application programming interfaces) for contextual assistants, a revamped power management system that reduces the number of programs running in the background when the device is not in use, support for fingerprint recognition and USB Type -C connector, the ability to move data to a micro SD card for primary storage, and other internal changes.

This only affects the China Developer ROM from now on, the same cannot be said for the Global Developer ROM.
