The Xiaomi Double 11 Shopping Carnival has indeed given us many surprises already, from discounts to price cuts and a teaser for the new Mi Phone. This morning we have big news again. They announced the long awaited new generation Mi Band! So how is the new Mi Band different?
I remember some of you mentioning how nice it would be to be able to monitor your heart rate. Yes, your request has been heard! Now the Mi Band 1s can track heart rate and does a much better job than its predecessor when it comes to tracking sleep. The optical heart rate tracker is located at the bottom of the device where it can make contact with the back of your hand.
Introducing a new Mi Band feature: optical heart rate sensor
The new Mi Band is made from higher-quality materials to prevent the breakage seen in the previous version.
If you look closely there is an optical heart rate sensor that can monitor the change in heart rate.

The Mi Band has a 45mAh battery capacity, a Dialog 4.0 Bluetooth chip, an ADI sensor and IP67 water resistance.

In terms of appearance, not much has changed, the difference being that the Mi Band 1s is equipped with an Optical Heart Rate Sensor, which is highly accurate, similar to the Apple Watch. Many fear that this new feature will significantly reduce battery life. According to the developer, the device lasts 20 days or more in tests.
