Xiaomi is known for not compromising on its headphones when it releases a smartphone. Specifically, it doesn't give you a bunch of stuff to go with the phone, but in return it offers you a quality earpiece and headphones separately. This way, the customer is not charged the price of a quality headset if they already own a quality one.
The Xiaomi Piston earphones, the Mi headphones and the 1More products are also popular in our country. Undoubtedly, there is a demand for quality accessories that are cheaper than the competition.

 

It seems that Xiaomi may soon unveil a new headset, according to an earlier tweet. There are no specifics yet on the upcoming product, but the attached image gives us a hint of the direction. A successor or a new product is likely (with the occasional USB-C connection)The Mi headphones were released back in 2015, so their successor is long overdue. The price of the hi-res headphones is ¥499 (~$79), which suggests that the price of the upcoming new product won't be much more expensive. If it wants to remain marketable, it certainly won't be significantly more expensive. Since then, the industry has evolved a lot, with other manufacturers coming up with several new innovations at CES, and we can expect more new announcements at MWC, too.
