NASA's InSight spacecraft has taken photos of a special Martian sunrise.
Amazing Martian sunrise caught me in the act the InSight probe, which was launched to Mars in May 2018 on an Atlas V rocket. The footage was shared by the US space agency NASA on its Twitter page, with the caption.I never tire of Martian sunrises". The researchers stitched together the photos of the sunrise in a short timelapse video.
I'll never tire of sunrise on Mars. ☀️ Each morning, that distant dot climbs higher in the sky, giving me energy for another round of listening to the rumbles beneath my feet. https://t.co/QB4uVOBLAP pic.twitter.com/61dZe75k2I

This is not the first time that InSight has taken photos of the Sun's path, the spacecraft has sent back images of the rising or setting Sun on the red planet several times.
Back in November 2018, the Mars probe InSight landed on Mars in a flat crater in the Elysium Plain. The spacecraft landed on the planet with the mission to drill into the Martian soil and collect data on the rocky planet's internal structure.
