It's a glorious day today: people read things all over the internet and sometimes have no idea whether they are true or false. However, we can't say the same about the information leaked today on Weibo (phoenix digital), who took two pictures of the supposed black and white Xiaomi Mi 6 package!
The first image shows the black coloured package and comes with some impressive specs, hinting at the Mi 6 Pro variant. The device inside features a 5.15-inch display, powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC at 2.45 GHz, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It packs a 30 MPixel main camera with image stabilization and an 8MP front-facing camera. According to the box, inside the device we get a massive 4000 mAh battery, which is very large for a smartphone with a 5.15-inch display.
The second picture probably refers to the Xiaomi Mi 6 "lite" variant, equipped with a Snapdragon 835 SoC with an unknown clock speed (maybe lower), 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, 12MP main camera and 4MP ultrapixel sensor, like the Mi 5. This version unfortunately has a 3200 mAh battery, at least according to the package.
Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus are expected to be launched on 11 April.
